Chapel Hill restaurants/breweries

Going to be in Chapel Hill Saturday and will need a place for an afternoon/evening meal. I've never been there before. What's a good (non chain) fast casual type of place or brewery with food in that area or on the way out of town back towards civilization (Christiansburg). We'll probably head back on 40 but could be convinced to head up 86 toward Danville if there is something worth trying...
